In the role of investment or project controller, you will hold a key position in a Nordic real estate and workplace organization that conducts extensive project activities. The position is versatile and entails both strategic and operational responsibilities, serving as an important support in the organization's decision-making.

You will participate in the planning and preparation of decision-making materials for individual projects, as well as contribute to the overall governance of the project portfolio – focusing on prioritization and resource allocation. The role includes responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, ongoing monthly reporting, and investment analyses.

Furthermore, you are expected to contribute to developing and securing a structured project process and improving tools for analysis and calculation. You will also work on producing and following up relevant key figures related to planned and executed projects and investments, providing the organization with better insight and control over developments.

Some of the tasks involve preparing materials for decisions. Initially, however, the focus will be on coordinating and prioritizing the work with our system support for financial follow-up and establishing effective and well-functioning processes.

The finance team within business support currently consists of three controllers and is now being strengthened with an additional role focused on investments and project follow-up. In this role, you will have a coordinating responsibility for the reporting of investments and will be a key person in developing the follow-up structure in the area.

Requirements We are looking for someone with an academic degree in finance or another relevant education at the college or university level. You have at least five years of experience in similar tasks or have otherwise acquired equivalent knowledge and skills through your career.

You have knowledge and previous experience in the following areas:

• Finance related to real estate, construction projects, and investments
• Follow-up of investment projects
• Good understanding of accounting principles and regulations regarding real estate-related VAT
• Experience working in financial systems within larger and complex organizations
• A significant part of the analytical work is based on data retrieved from SAP, which is then further processed in Excel and Power BI. Therefore, it is a requirement that you have experience and competence in handling and analyzing large data sets. We also see that you have an interest in developing reporting solutions that enhance follow-up in both quality and efficiency.
• You have the ability to view investment planning from a strategic and overarching perspective while being driven to improve working methods, routines, and processes related to the project process.
