We are now looking for an Investment Controller for our energy client's Real Estate & Facility Management Nordic (REFM Nordic) project organization. Here you will play an important role in developing and ensuring the quality of the project process while driving investment monitoring and analyses that contribute to smart and sustainable decisions.

As an Investment Controller, you are a central part of their project organization where you work closely with project managers, business managers, and controller colleagues. You are responsible for budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, and analyses from an investment perspective. The role also entails overall responsibility for coordinating investment reporting within the organization.

You will:

• Participate in planning and preparing decision-making materials for projects and investments
• Contribute to the work of planning and prioritizing the project portfolio
• Be responsible for the development and management of financial monitoring processes and system support
• Develop reports, calculations, and relevant key figures for investment monitoring
• Actively contribute to the development of analysis and calculation tools
• Coordinate investment reporting and ensure quality-assured decision-making materials

To be successful in this role, you need to

• Have a degree in economics or another relevant university or college education with a focus on economics.
• Have worked for at least 5 years with similar tasks.
• Have experience in property, construction, and investment economics as well as monitoring investment projects.
• Good knowledge of accounting and property VAT.
• Good familiarity with financial systems (preferably SAP) and analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI.
• You need to be accustomed to handling large data sets and have an interest in further developing reporting and analysis solutions.
