We are now looking for a senior ESG and compliance consultant for our client in Gothenburg.

Responsibilities within ESG strategy and reporting:

• Lead planning, coordination, and implementation of ESG and sustainability initiatives across all three companies in the group.
• Ensure that sustainability reports are produced on time and with high quality, in accordance with relevant frameworks and regulations.
• Monitor the development of ESG-related legislation and provide advice on how it affects compliance and operations.
• Support the integration of sustainability aspects into business processes, procurement, and product development.

Compliance work:

• Be responsible for implementing and maintaining group-wide compliance programs and internal guidelines.
• Coordinate risk assessments and ensure that relevant actions are taken to manage legal and regulatory risk areas.
• Support the organization with training initiatives and awareness efforts to create a strong and vibrant compliance culture throughout the organization.

Cross-functional collaboration:

• Drive collaboration and coordination between legal, finance, HR, operations, and other departments to ensure consistent practices within ESG and compliance.
• Act as a contact person for external stakeholders such as auditors, consultants, authorities, and the group's headquarters as needed.

Data governance and monitoring:

• Be responsible for the collection, quality assurance, and analysis of ESG-related data.
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting tools to track progress on sustainability and compliance goals.
• Contribute to both internal and external ESG reporting as well as benchmarking initiatives.

Requirements

• Documented experience in compliance work, including implementation and monitoring of regulations.
• Deep expertise in ESG and sustainability work, including strategy, reporting, and integration into business processes.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written (expert level required).
