About the role:

As a software developer at Arho AB, you will develop and implement software for advanced automation and robotics systems. You will be a key person in our technical team, working closely with both the mechanical and electrical departments, as well as project managers and clients. Your work will range from system architecture and programming to integration, testing, and deployment.

Examples of tasks:

• Development of control systems, interfaces, and applications for robotics and automation
• Integration of software with PLCs, robot control systems, and camera systems
• Development of tools and internal systems for simulation, logging, and analysis
• Debugging and optimizing code and systems in real production
• Participation in customer projects from requirements specification to final solution

We are looking for someone who has:

• Several years of experience in software development, preferably in industrial automation
• Good knowledge of one or more of the following languages: C#, Python, Java, Rust, or C++
• Experience with database management, communication protocols, or IoT solutions
• Understanding of real-time systems or embedded systems is highly meritorious
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form

Meritorious:

• Experience in HMI development
• Knowledge of robot and PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, ABB)
• Experience with Git and test-driven development
• Post-secondary education in computer engineering, automation, mechatronics, or similar
