ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Kura Omsorg are now looking for several personal assistants for our client in Västerås. We offer two positions with shifts distributed on both weekdays and weekends, with a workload of approximately 80%. Initially, you will start as a substitute, with the goal of transitioning to a permanent schedule. We are also looking for substitutes who can work as needed. Start date and introduction will be agreed upon, but we would prefer that you can begin the introduction as soon as possible.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

• Weekdays: 07:00–15:00 or 15:00–21:00
• Weekends: 07:00–19:00

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a woman in her 40s living in Västerås. She has an active daily life and values both lively days and quieter moments. She enjoys various activities and appreciates being outdoors, which her assistants accompany her on. She is also an animal lover, and there is a cat in the home. The client has a high spinal cord injury and requires double assistance around the clock. The tasks involve helping her with all personal care, including daily hygiene routines, dressing and undressing, and meal situations. There are lifting aids in the home to facilitate transfers.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for someone who is responsible, reliable, and attentive to the client's needs. Since the work as a personal assistant places high demands on being proactive, you need to be confident in yourself and able to take your own initiatives. We view previous experience in the profession positively, but it is not a requirement to apply for the position. The client prefers female applicants, and great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong knowledge of the Swedish language
• Non-smoker
• Driver's license (B) as the client has a car that the assistants will drive
• Not allergic to pets

PREFERABLE QUALIFICATIONS

• Healthcare education
• Healthcare experience
• Experience with suction machines, tracheostomy, and/or cough machines

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.
