About Us

The Dialysis Clinic Mölndal is a dialysis unit with 13 dialysis stations focused on utilizing the patient's self-care ability.

You will be offered a safe and stimulating work environment where you work with technology and care, and have the opportunity to build long-lasting and good relationships based on a person-centered approach. The goal is to create engaged patients who can live an active life with good quality of life despite chronic illness.

The clinic is staffed solely by nurses and operates every day of the week, both day and evening, with shifts every fourth weekend. We mostly work during the day with about one weekday evening a week, finishing at 8:00 PM.

With us, you will receive eight weeks of training with an experienced nurse who will then act as your mentor. During these weeks, you will have no trouble learning the technology related to a dialysis machine. Every Thursday morning, we have training at the clinic, either with our instructor or an external lecturer. If you are interested, there is an opportunity for you to take a course in nephrology and nursing worth 22.5 higher education credits at the advanced level at the University of Gothenburg after you have worked with us for a while.

About You

We are looking for a licensed nurse with previous experience in healthcare or someone who is about to finish their nursing education. You will be part of a team with experienced nurses, and to fit into our team, you should be responsible, cooperative, flexible, and able to build good relationships. You have an interest in long-term care contacts and enjoy working with technology, care, and possess good digital skills. We are looking for someone who can complement our team, with a focus on personal suitability.

If you are a newly graduated nurse, you will be part of the Clinical Foundation Year, which is our introductory program. The Clinical Foundation Year is mandatory and lasts for the first year of your employment with us. It includes lectures, nursing supervision, and practical training of your profession at the Simulation Center. In nephrology, it includes internships in our various clinics and wards.

In the event of recruiting nurses/doctors with foreign licenses/specialist certificates, the relevant position will be preceded by a process to meet the requirements for Swedish licenses/specialist certificates.
