About the American High School, Stockholm - Campus Frescati Hage

By Brunnsviken in the picturesque Norra Djurgårdsstaden, we started a high school in the autumn of 2023. The school is now in its second academic year and has approximately 270 students studying in the Natural Sciences, Economics, or Social Sciences programs. In the autumn, the school will grow further, and we will have about 450 students. The teaching is conducted in both English and Swedish by a competent teaching staff with a strong sense of community.

About the role

As a teacher, you will teach our students in business administration and law, as well as have a mentorship role. You will be responsible for planning, conducting, assessing, and evaluating your own teaching. You are expected to lead lessons based on our pedagogical structure, which you will receive guidance in. You will teach in a digital environment with digital teaching materials combined with traditional literature. Teaching will be conducted in both Swedish and English. 

The position is a permanent employment at 100%, with an initial probationary period of 6 months. Start date August 4, 2025.

Your profile

We are primarily looking for you with a teaching license and experience in teaching, who is qualified to teach business administration. Qualification to teach law is a merit. You have a strong commitment to teaching and want to be part of developing the operations together with a strong team of colleagues, and you share our pedagogical view:

You are expected to have good communication skills in both Swedish and English, in both spoken and written form. You have the ability to use a wide range of digital teaching materials and possess a solid digital competence.
