About the positionVilla Nora is a residential care home for girls aged 10-14 who have been in unsuitable environments, committed minor offenses, experimented with drugs, and exhibit outwardly aggressive behavior. The residence is located about 5 km outside Uppsala, in a rural setting close to nature.
We will primarily work based on learning psychological principles and evidence-based methods with a focus on CBT. With the help of clarifying pedagogy, we will be able to create structure and safety, which helps clients understand their daily lives and take responsibility for their development.
As a treatment pedagogue at HVB Villa Nora, you will mainly work with: - Treatment interventions - Documentation - External contacts with social services and other authorities - Daily tasks are also included in the position.
Who are you?We are looking for someone who is solution-oriented, organized, and responsible. You have a positive outlook and enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. To thrive and succeed in this role, we hope you can easily build relationships and have good collaboration skills.
We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker, behavioral scientist, or has at least a two-year post-secondary education such as treatment pedagogue/social pedagogue.
It is also an advantage if you: - have experience working in treatment for children and youth - have experience with CBT, MI, and/or other evidence-based methods - have experience with documentation work and medication management.
About the employmentWorking hours and schedule: 100%. 4-week rotating schedule with varying days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
Salary: To be agreed upon, and other compensations are according to collective agreements.
Start date: To be agreed upon.
Other:- A B driver's license is required for the position. - A background check from the Police Authority's criminal record and suspicion register for staff at HVB is always required before employment.
