JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a companion for a 14-year-old boy. As a companion, your role is to accompany him to and from activities outside the home. As a companion, you enable social contacts and leisure activities in a safe environment. We seek someone with a genuine interest in helping others. You will base your work on the individual’s needs and interests and adapt to situations. You are relationship-building and collaborative. To thrive in your role, it is important that you see each person and understand how important you are in contributing to a meaningful everyday life. It is essential that you are cooperative, inventive, self-assured, and possess great patience, as this creates security in your role as a companion.

QUALIFICATIONS

Personal suitability is of utmost importance. To fit the role, we believe you are attentive, empathetic, driven, and service-minded. You should be able to create contacts and maintain relationships. You have an empathetic ability and can understand someone else's perspective or situation. We are looking for a person who enjoys socializing with others, is interested in how others feel, and has a stable and secure life situation. It is an advantage if you have some form of experience with diagnoses.
