About the Role:

As a junior geotechnical engineer/geoconstructor at Tyréns, you will work alongside an experienced and versatile team in geotechnics. You will have the opportunity to participate in all phases of the construction process – from early investigations and bid proposals to follow-up and active design during the construction phase. In this role, you will develop through varied assignments and collaboration with both senior colleagues and external partners. You will receive a solid introduction and mentoring support to quickly grow in your role. The competence area holds lectures every month and a Geotechnical Academy that is held for all interested, primarily juniors, to get to know the organization but also the technology better.

Responsibilities:

• Manage documentation and reports.
• Design and develop investigation plans.
• Coordinate assignments together with field coordinators.
• Work closely with senior geotechnical engineers/geoconstructors.
• Compile field results and present them in CAD (Civil 3D, GeoBim, Collector).
• Participate in internal and external meetings with clients and project groups.
• Accompany fieldwork and contribute to field investigations.
• Perform calculations for settlements, stability, ground reinforcement, and other geotechnical analyses.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering, with a focus on building and construction technology or similar.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in similar tasks, such as reporting geotechnical investigations.
• Courses in geotechnics, geology, rock engineering, hydrology, environmental engineering, as well as experience with tools like Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and geotechnical calculations.
• Experience working with clay and geotechnical analyses.
• Driver's license (B).
• Technical language skills in Polish.
