Are you a systems engineer with experience in technical systems work? Do you enjoy working on a project basis and have good collaboration skills along with a structured approach? Do you want to work on qualified projects aimed at making Sweden and the world safer? Then you might be the one we are looking for.

Responsibilities

In the role of systems engineer, you will work to ensure that the Swedish Armed Forces' procurement and purchases are carried out efficiently and with high technical quality. You will be responsible for reviewing, developing, and delivering the technical documentation. Furthermore, you will ensure that the equipment is handed over to the Armed Forces with the correct documentation that meets the safety requirements necessary for safe use by soldiers and sailors. Daily tasks include creating technical specifications, performing delivery inspections, analyzing technical documentation, and developing maintenance plans for medical technology equipment.

The position is based in Stockholm.

We are looking for someone who

Has a master's or bachelor's degree in a relevant field. You have experience working on a project basis and in technical systems work. Additionally, you have knowledge in areas such as systems engineering, integrated logistics support, configuration management, or systems safety. You also have excellent skills in Swedish and good skills in English, as well as proficiency in the Office suite.

It is an advantage if you have experience in similar work within the defense sector and if you have experience in system design. Experience with medical equipment and its technical solutions regarding application and integration into surrounding systems is also meritorious but not a requirement for the position.

To succeed in this role, we see that you are a team player with good collaboration skills who enjoys working closely with others to achieve common goals. You are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks but know when to ask for help. Your structured working method allows you to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and keep track of details without losing focus. At the same time, you are flexible and can adapt to changing circumstances and new challenges. You have a service-oriented attitude and always ensure to deliver high-quality results with a positive approach. Personal qualities are highly valued.
