Job Responsibilities

As a Design Engineer with us, you will be responsible for developing products according to customer requirements and contributing improvement suggestions based on your experience. Your main responsibilities include:

Development of product concepts and detailed product design based on customer requirements and specifications.
Participation in meetings and activities to ensure continuous improvements.
Management of D-FMEA, product specifications, test specifications, and other technical documents.
Support to test and measurement labs with tests, analyses, and reports.
Creation of documentation for prototypes and support to production in design and improvement work.
Communication with customers and suppliers to ensure technical solutions and quality.

You will work closely with other functions and contribute ideas and solutions in teams to develop innovative and cost-effective products.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has/is:

At least a 3-year university education with a technical focus or equivalent.
At least 3 years of experience in design, preferably within the automotive industry.
Experience working in projects.
Solid knowledge of Catia V5 and preferably SmartTeam or similar.
Knowledge of mechanics, and preferably basic knowledge of mechatronics or electronics.
Experience in calculations and simulations as well as IATF 16949 is an advantage.
Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
Good IT skills.
