Engelska skolan norr is looking for substitute teachers who can take on various educational assignments and contribute to a safe and stable school experience for our students.

Being fluent in Swedish is a must.

Substitute Teacher in School

• You should be able to follow instructions from regular staff but also be prepared to improvise if there is no planning.
• You will need to write a short report to the regular teacher at the end of the day.
• You should be able to lead and organize the work in the classroom.
• You will eat with the students and support them during meals.
• You will supervise and engage students during breaks.
• You should be able to collaborate with other teachers and classroom assistants in the team.

Substitute in After-School Care

• Substituting in after-school care means replacing regular staff and performing most of that person's duties.
• The regular staff has the educational responsibility. Bring appropriate clothing for outdoor activities and be prepared to go outside regardless of the weather.
• It is important that you introduce yourself to parents, staff, and the children.
• You must be able to have a good overview of the student group.
