Our focus is to develop REMONDIS into Sweden's best company in recycling. Therefore, we are looking for a Polymer Engineer who plays a key role with great responsibility and the opportunity to influence the future of recycled plastic products. You will be instrumental in analyzing and evaluating new material fractions, while working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the highest quality. This means that you will play a central role in our product development.

With a focus on innovation and sustainability, you will also drive and/or contribute to the development of our product portfolio focusing on material properties as well as recycling processes. This is a dynamic and future-oriented position for those who want to be part of our team and shape the future of recycled plastic materials.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for sampling, preparation of samples, and analyzing material samples of new fractions for our recycling facilities in Staffanstorp and Röstånga.
  • Responsible for the structure of ongoing tests of incoming materials and our products.
  • Responsible for our product recipes, internal test structure, the product's technical data sheets (TDS), and safety data sheets (SDS).
  • Responsible for ensuring that the development laboratory and production laboratories have the right equipment for the task.
  • Participate in and/or lead development projects.
  • Environmental analysis of, for example, legal requirements and trends that may affect the handling of plastic waste, recycled plastic raw materials, and services.

Requirements for the position:

  • Relevant post-secondary education
  • Previous experience in testing and material development
  • Good computer skills
  • Very good communication skills in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing

We also appreciate if you have:

  • Experience from the producing plastic industry
