Located close to the sea and nature on the Kullahalvön peninsula, the Sjöcrona healthcare center is situated in the picturesque town of Höganäs in northwestern Skåne. This accredited health choice unit, with a large part of the residents of Höganäs municipality as care recipients, is a unit with nurses, district nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, physiotherapists, occupational therapist, psychologist, dietitian, specialists in general medicine, resident doctors, and junior doctors. We have several nurse-led clinics such as diabetes, hypertension, REKO, elderly care, and child health center (BVC). Our team of over 40 employees takes care of our 10,000 listed patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a new medical colleague with specialist competence in general medicine. The healthcare center currently has specialists in general medicine, resident doctors, and junior doctors. In your role as a specialist doctor, you will work with both planned and acute reception work.

Here, we work as a team to make the most of everyone's skills, and our patients are listed on teams. We regularly work on improvement projects and have many new and exciting projects to look forward to. Therefore, we are looking for someone who wants to be involved in our development work and who understands the importance of sharing knowledge and skills, all in line with providing our patients with the best possible person-centered care.

We have a close collaboration with our twin healthcare center Delfinen and have both a common operations manager and a medical manager (MLA). We also have joint medical meetings and see ourselves as a medical group. Together, we are responsible for five special accommodations together with the Delfinen healthcare center.

Continuous education and competence development are important to us, and we invest heavily in it. We want our employees to contribute and be involved and proactive in improvement work and business development. Therefore, we want you to share your knowledge with other employees and supervise medical students and trainee doctors.

The working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday with an individual schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you as a licensed doctor with the right to practice in Swedish healthcare and with specialist competence in general medicine. In addition, you have good language skills in Swedish equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale.

In our daily work at the healthcare center, rapid changes often occur, so it is necessary for you to be able to adapt to these changes and adjust when needed. In these adjustments, abilities such as having a good overview, being able to plan your work, and maintaining a good structure are important. Furthermore, we see a good attitude with a high willingness to serve as other important qualities with us. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
