Temporary Social Worker for the Reception Unit for Children and Youth

The social services in Ljusdal are striving to become an attractive employer with a good working environment. Responsibilities

We are looking for a temporary social worker for the reception unit for children and youth. The reception unit is the first line of social services and handles reports of concern and applications regarding children and young people under 18 years of age. The reception unit also provides advisory services to other operations and to the public on matters concerning children and families. The reception unit is an important part of the social services' work. The work is carried out with the support of the Social Services Act or the Care of Young Persons (Special Provisions) Act. At the reception unit, teamwork is essential, and there is a shared responsibility for the unit's tasks.

Our ambition is for our work in all aspects to be characterized by Signs of Safety and preventive work. The reception unit is located in the municipal building together with other social services' regulatory operations working with children and youth.

Qualifications

University degree in social work or equivalent as assessed by the employer. For this position, a clean record from the police is required. Driver's license B. Personal suitability is crucial. Required experience includes good organizational and documentation skills as well as the ability to express oneself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

It is advantageous if you have previously worked with other target groups within social services. It is also beneficial if you have experience working according to BBIC and Signs of Safety. Good cooperation skills and flexibility are meritorious. Experience in conducting meetings with the assistance of an interpreter is also positive.

External supervision is a given. Interviews will be conducted continuously. The position is temporary with entry as soon as possible by agreement. The end date of the employment is 2025-11-30.
