Currently, Securus is looking for dedicated security guards who want to work at crime scene surveillance and in the detention center in Borlänge. We are looking for someone who is used to collaborating with colleagues to ensure the quality of work and has the ability to adapt to different paces when required. It is advantageous if you have experience working in corrections, psychiatry, or in a similar profession where you have been in contact with people in vulnerable situations.

The position involves covering vacant shifts in the detention center where you, together with your colleagues, manage the operation and handling of clients according to given procedures. In addition to shifts in the detention center, the position also includes temporary surveillance of sites that arise when there is suspicion of a crime, as well as monitoring clients receiving care at the hospital.

Qualifications for the Position

We are looking for someone who is a trained security guard. Since Securus is a security-classified company that largely works with public authorities, a security screening with a registry check is conducted in accordance with the Security Protection Act.

The position requires Swedish citizenship and fluent language skills in both spoken and written Swedish. The position occasionally involves receiving and conveying necessary information regarding the authorities' handling of detained individuals. You also need to be able to speak and understand English.

We expect security guards to have good physical fitness to handle the demanding situations that may arise in the position.
