Cultural and Community Development Administration

The Cultural and Community Development Administration consists of activities responsible for the management and maintenance of streets and parks, local traffic regulations, culture and leisure, as well as community planning, project design, and exploitation.

About the Position

As pool and sports hall staff in Ludvika municipality, you will work in Ludvika sports hall, which is also the municipality's largest recreational facility. The pool features a swimming hall, family pool, and relaxation area. The sports hall also includes an Actic gym and bowling alley. In the sports halls, Kyrkskolan conducts its physical education classes, and several of the local larger associations operate with us.

Job Responsibilities

• Pool Supervision: Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the safety of our pool guests and ensuring that established rules are followed.
• Swimming Instruction: During the day, we conduct swimming lessons for the municipality's elementary schools. In the evenings and on weekends, we provide swimming instruction for all ages on our own.
• Cleaning: The pool staff is responsible for all cleaning in the pool areas, changing rooms, and shower rooms.
• Reception Work: You are the face of our visitors at Ludvika sports hall. In the reception, we assist everyone from pool guests and gym customers to those who may need help booking the flex bus.

Qualifications

Pool lifeguard, swimming instructor training, swimming instructor assistant training, or other equivalent training deemed equivalent by the employer. Good knowledge of Swedish and English.

Meritorious

Language skills other than Swedish and English are meritorious.

Personal Qualities

You need to be service-oriented, interested in helping others, pedagogical, and able to communicate clearly with both small and large groups. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
