Your organizational placement will be in the Security, Risk, and Preparedness unit within the Regional Board's administration. The unit's mission is to contribute specialized expertise by driving, monitoring, and developing issues in various areas. The scope of the assignments is significant, ranging from group strategic issues to purely operational issues. As an Information Security Coordinator within the Regional Board's administration, you will have the opportunity to influence the development of the region's security work. Information Security Coordinator, Falun

Job Duties

The region systematically works with information security according to ISO 27000. In your role as an Information Security Coordinator for the Regional Board's administration, you will provide support where the following tasks are included:

• develop the administration's systematic information security work together with the administration's management
• support in the development of routines and instructions for information security
• support the development of the administration's action plan for information security
• inform and educate on rules, methods, and processes regarding information security
• lead and participate in information classifications and risk analyzes
• monitor and report on compliance with information security work
• participate in/lead various projects/working groups covering information security issues
• participate in internal and external networks

Additional Information

Qualifications

The position requires a university degree in information security, computer science, law, or other relevant education for the field, as well as experience from work in the field of information security. You should have good knowledge of change management and management systems. Experience in project management and/or investigation work, as well as experience in working with information security issues in a large public organization, is meritorious. If you are certified in the field, we also see that as a merit. Furthermore, knowledge of information classification, risk analysis work, and legal frameworks governing information management is desirable.

To thrive in the role, you need to have the ability to take initiative, be able to structure and drive your own assignments with the ambition to achieve results. The role is consultative, and therefore, we attach great importance to your enjoyment of collaborating with others and listening, communicating, and having a pragmatic approach. You have a good understanding of the work and the ability to contribute to others with your knowledge in the field.
