Are you interested in optimizing energy use in properties and also gaining experience in working with energy issues in property portfolios? We are now looking for an energy technician for Telge Fastigheter; a person who shares our passion for the well-being of children and municipal residents and who also wants to drive and develop Telge's energy and environmental work.

Job duties and responsibilities

The role of an energy technician at Telge Fastigheter is an opportunity for you who want to develop, grow, and be prepared to become an energy engineer in the future.

We see that you have very good experience with technical building systems and perhaps you have previously worked as, for example, a building engineer, control and regulation technician, experienced operations technician, or with equivalent education and experience.

Here at Telge Fastigheter, you will be partly responsible for developing, driving, and monitoring the work on energy-saving measures to achieve the company's energy and environmental goals. A large part of the role as an energy technician involves conducting energy and operational optimization inspections and, in the long run, also energy surveys and more advanced investigations in Telge's property portfolio, to systematically drive the energy issue forward.

You will also drive smaller energy projects and, in consultation with others in the unit, environment, and sustainability, you will respond internally and eventually, as an expert in energy issues in general.

We envision that you work on developing and implementing energy measures that enhance the buildings to the desired level of energy efficiency, thereby reducing the proportion of purchased energy and other factors related to the energy strategy; and that you support the management in implementation. You handle and conduct energy surveys that you analyze, and participate in coordinating measures.

Our wishlist

We would like to get to know you and learn a little more about what you can do. To succeed in your role, we see that you have at least five years of experience in energy issues and the real estate industry, as well as experience in project management.

Ideally, you have worked on energy projects before. The role also requires that you have a comprehensive knowledge of technical building systems and installation technology, as well as good knowledge of building control and regulation technology. We believe that you have an education focusing on energy and/or installation technology - or similar. You may have previously worked as an operations technician with a good understanding of installation technology.

Important qualities for the role are organizational skills and very good collaboration skills. You are used to planning and following up on your work while constantly seeing solutions and opportunities for improvement.

Naturally, you identify with our core values: open, simple, personal, and brave. Good Swedish and English language skills in speech and writing are required, as well as knowledge of the Office suite. You need to have a driver's license for this position.

Extra points

Nobody is perfect, but if you have the following education: Certified Energy Expert (CEX), Certified Energy Surveyor (EKL), as well as knowledge and/or experience with one or more of Vitec property systems, UNIT-4, Mercur, and LOU, that's a plus.
