Psychologist for Assessment and Support at a School in Linköping

Are you an experienced and dedicated psychologist who is passionate about making a difference in children's lives?

We are currently looking for an assessing psychologist who is willing to work on an as-needed basis at a smaller school to conduct assessments and support children at a young age. In this role, you will collaborate with teachers and other school staff to create the best possible conditions for each child's development and future. The position also involves actively participating in the creation and follow-up of action plans for children in need of extra support, in collaboration with the school's team.

About the position:

• Assignment: As needed, when there are children in need of assessment.
• Location: School in Linköping
• Start: According to agreement.
• Collaboration: The position involves close cooperation with teachers and school staff to ensure the development and well-being of the children.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a qualified psychologist with an approved education to work as an assessing psychologist and experience in conducting assessments for children of school age.

Your tasks include:

• Conducting psychological assessments of children in school, including assessing their cognitive, emotional, and social development.
• Collaborating with teachers, school staff, and parents to create a comprehensive picture of the child's needs and support the child's development.
• Creating and documenting action plans based on the assessments, with clear goals and measures to support the child's continued development.
• Following up on the action plans with school staff to ensure that the right interventions are implemented and that the child's development is progressing.
• Providing support and guidance to teachers and other school staff on matters related to children's psychological well-being.

Requirements:

• Psychology degree with approved certification.
• Previous experience working as an assessing psychologist for children of school age.
