Cardiologist for inpatient care in northern Halland

Your role with us

The heart team consists of doctors, nurses, assistant nurses, biomedical analysts, paramedics, and medical secretaries. Your tasks are present in almost all stages of the heart patient's journey through healthcare. It may involve participating in team work in the acute management of heart patients in the hospital's emergency department or intensive care unit, but also includes a varied range of activities with ward work and your own reception, including investigation, treatment, and follow-up of ischemic heart disease, heart failure, valve defects, arrhythmias, hypertension, lipid disorders, etc. You also provide support in the nurse-based team reception.

The section is responsible for the echocardiographic operations with the support of experienced biomedical analysts, we perform exercise tests and stress echocardiography, and we have an HND reception under development. The heart section has round responsibility for the heart department during the day on weekends and also participates in selected parts of other emergency services.

About you

We are looking for a licensed doctor with specialist competence in cardiology. An advantage is if you have experience in heart failure and/or infarction investigation and follow-up. An additional merit is a combination with specialist competence/experience in internal medicine.

As a person, you are flexible and have a good ability to collaborate, as well as good communication skills in both speech and writing. You have knowledge of the Swedish language (C1). We believe in good cooperation between different professions that contribute to a positive atmosphere in the workgroup and a professional approach to our residents. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
