Jula is on an exciting growth journey, and we are now looking for a Packaging Developer who wants to contribute to our sales success. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing sustainable and cost-effective packaging solutions, from factory to customer. You will work strategically to improve customer satisfaction, drive development projects, and ensure quality, standardization, and efficiency.

You will support product managers in packaging and labeling issues, ensure that design and materials meet product requirements, and optimize packaging sizes for efficient logistics. Additionally, you will be responsible for material specifications and improvement work in the area. The role involves close collaboration with both internal and external parties, including travel to suppliers and collaboration with colleagues in Asia. You will report to the Purchasing Manager and play a key role in our development.

What’s in your CV?

We are looking for someone with solid experience in packaging development, particularly in the design of packaging in corrugated cardboard and carton. You have good technical skills and experience in leading projects, as well as the ability to organize and structure your work effectively. A university degree in the field is an advantage, but your practical experience and solution-oriented approach are what matter most.

Who are you?

You have experience driving and working in projects and a strong technical competence in packaging design. As a genuine team player, you combine your natural structure and organizational skills with a solution-oriented approach. You are quick to learn new things, adapt to new environments, and communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.

To succeed in this role, you always have the customer's best interests in mind and enjoy taking responsibility and working independently. You are proactive, relationship-building, and have a strong drive. Additionally, you are creative, curious, and have good problem-solving skills. Good to know

The position is a permanent employment, with an initial 6-month probation period, and is based at our headquarters in Skara. The company has a collective agreement with Unionen for white-collar workers.
