JOB DESCRIPTION

The Drinking Water Production Department is responsible for the preparation of drinking water at our two water treatment plants and associated facilities. The Operations Development team works directly under the department head and is responsible for driving the department's strategic work with the core mission of drinking water production.

We are looking for someone to take on two projects to secure a strong drinking water supply in a vital community operation. The content includes:

• Updating/quality assurance of signal data from SCADA systems
• Investigation for continued operation of the ultrafiltration plant. Testing of protocols for cleaning tests on a pilot scale aimed at restoring membrane permeability on a full scale at the Lackarebäck water treatment plant
• Process engineer tasks/investigations as needed

The position will primarily be based at the Lackarebäck water treatment plant.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with at least three years of post-secondary education focused on chemistry or water treatment processes. You also have experience in data processing/programming, preferably related to SCADA data. If you also have experience in operating pilot plants and/or water/food facilities, this is an advantage.

As a person, you show great interest in the tasks by being analytical, independent, and collaborative.

The position is a project employment to address specific issues in the operation and is intended for the period 20250801-20261231.

The position is security classified and requires Swedish citizenship as well as an approved security clearance consisting of, among other things, a background check, security interview, and alcohol and drug testing.
