Job Description

As an automation engineer, you will identify, develop, and design automation solutions. You will also be crucial in ensuring the operation of automation solutions in the business through troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. Project management and teamwork are a natural part of the role to drive the business forward. You play a central role in the installation, commissioning, and optimization of processes.

Qualifications

You are a master's or bachelor's engineer in automation, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or equivalent with experience in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, ABB). You have an understanding of diagnosing and solving problems in complex automation systems. Experience from, for example, manufacturing, automotive, food, or process industries is an advantage.

* Experience with C, C++, Python, or equivalent for integrating automation solutions.

* Basic understanding of systems like SAP to integrate production data.

* Database management: Knowledge of SQL to manage and analyze production data.

* Familiarity with industrial standards such as CE marking, ISO 9001, IEC 61131, EN ISO 13849, or IEC 62061.

* Certifications in automation systems may be advantageous, such as Siemens Certified Programmer.

As a person, you are analytical and enjoy solving problems. You are a team player and thrive in dynamic environments. Structure and delivery are important to you.

Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

You should be able to travel to other production facilities or customer operations.

A driver's license is often required to visit external facilities.

A requirement for this position is that you undergo a negative drug test before starting.
