Your Role

As a Software Test Lead, you will work to ensure that the software meets established requirements and standards by carefully monitoring, evaluating, and testing the entire development process. A central part of your role will be to support system developers by ensuring that it is clear what needs to be done regarding testing and that all steps are followed closely.

In this role, you will also contribute to developing and improving our strategies, processes, and working methods. It is about finding solutions to simplify testing work and quality-assure our software more effectively.

Some common tasks include:

• Developing, documenting, and maintaining test plans and strategies related to testing
• Analyzing results from software tests and recommending appropriate actions
• Supporting staff in the use of tests
• Monitoring and reporting progress on test plans and test cases

Your Profile

We are looking for a communicative person who is happy to share their thoughts and ideas and dares to challenge established working methods. A genuine interest in teaching and supporting others is important, as well as patience and a supportive attitude towards others. We value humility and see each individual's experiences as a valuable asset, believing that you can convey our processes in a simple and clear way and create an inviting and collaborative atmosphere.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

• Documented experience from a similar role
• Education or experience in systems engineering
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English
• Experience in testing desktop applications

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
