YOUR ROLE AS A COMMAND SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

We are looking for staff for our assignment CSS LSS Mark at Combitech in Växjö, which is central system support for ground command support systems. The current positions involve adapting, testing, and troubleshooting configuration data intended for technical systems within the Army. Configuration data includes, among other things, data for communication nodes for IP and radio networks intended for both data traffic and voice, as well as data for technical systems that connect to these networks. This means that you need to be able to work both system-wide and at a technical detail level, with high demands for accuracy and security.

An important part of the job is good collaboration with both suppliers and recipients of configuration data. This involves having a dialogue about requirements, formats, and content, as well as verification and validation to ensure that the results meet the needs. You will provide support during the installation and functional testing of the units' technical platforms, as well as being a requirements setter for the tools used to package and version control configuration data.

At Combitech, you will be part of a close-knit team consisting of about 15 people. The team is characterized by a flexible working method, close collaboration, and the opportunity to influence both the content and execution of the work. WHO ARE YOU?

We are looking for someone with experience and interest in system-technical solutions where theoretical ideas and solutions meet reality. We believe you are a technology-oriented person with a focus on computer engineering and value knowledge and skills that are often developed through technical or analytical education. However, we are open to candidates with equivalent experience or abilities. You should have knowledge of the Windows suite, database knowledge, the Office package, network communication, data structure, and be proficient in Swedish both spoken and written.

It is a merit if you have experience working within or in connection with the Armed Forces, preferably with unit-related activities and working methods, and have knowledge of the Army's communication and command support systems with integrated software.

The qualities we consider valuable for this role include good analytical ability and logical thinking, which allows you to work systematically and solution-oriented. The work is usually performed in smaller groups where collaboration is an important ingredient for a completed result. To thrive in the role, it is important that you can take responsibility for driving the work forward and take your own initiatives while having a willingness to be a team player with an unpretentious and humble approach.

You, as an applicant, have a good ability to create relationships with colleagues and partners, are attentive, and have an easy time understanding the customer's needs. As the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you are required to undergo and be approved in a security screening with a background check.
