Within Information Technology, we are currently about 130 employees with various professional backgrounds distributed across 9 different departments, located in shared premises in the Sigfridsområdet area in Växjö.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The IT supply in Region Kronoberg is based on a virtual organization, where close collaboration between the region's operations and Information Technology is the success factor for creating value for Region Kronoberg and its operations.

As an IT strategist and business developer, you are both an organizational support for Information Technology as an operation, but you also actively ensure structural conditions for Region Kronoberg and its operations to utilize appropriate information technology in a value-creating way. The work involves everything from developing and continuously improving principles/methods/models to ensuring that they are effective, known, and followed. The focus of the work is forward-looking and supportive.

In the role of IT strategist and business developer, you will be part of a team whose purpose is to drive the development of the structural conditions for the region-wide IT process and to actively support effective management and proactive further development of conditions for Information Technology as an operation. This means that you will be significantly involved in quality work, where we look forward to benefiting from your knowledge and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who puts the team before themselves and sees that the best possible results are achieved together. You have relevant documented education for the position or equivalent experience, which the employer assesses as equivalent. You have a basic understanding of IT's role in a larger organization and are driven by making processes and flows work together. You have experience working with governance and management, business development, and change management. Understanding of PM3 and ITIL is an advantage. It is a merit if you have worked with ITSM.

You are flexible and responsive to the needs of your surroundings and have an easy time collaborating. By being clear and communicative, you are good at leading and supporting people in change. Fluent Swedish in speech and writing is an important prerequisite for this position. We will place great emphasis on personal qualities.
