Are you a passionate software developer with experience working with complex systems and IoT solutions? Do you want to be involved in developing and maintaining the software used in our forklifts and IoT services? Then this could be the job for you!
How we work:
Assembly in Ljungby: We assemble our trucks in our own factory.
In-house design: Merlinum Forklift designs and constructs all our trucks ourselves, and we collaborate with local suppliers to manufacture the components.
Local collaboration: Our vision is to work with and hire local suppliers to strengthen the Swedish economy.
Operator comfort and performance: Our trucks are built with a focus on operator comfort, ergonomics, and performance.
We are responsible for the entire production chain – from design to finished truck – and only use components from well-known and recognized manufacturers to ensure the highest quality, availability of spare parts, and long lifespan of our products.
About the role:
As a software developer with us, you will be an important part of our team and work on the development and maintenance of the software in our forklifts and IoT services.
Your tasks will include, among other things:
- Development and optimization of software solutions for forklifts and IoT devices.
- Implementation of new features.
- Ensuring the reliability and performance of the systems.
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of existing software solutions.
- Collaboration with other developers and engineers to ensure that technical requirements are met.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience in programming with Codesys, Visual Studio, Qt Creator, and Hydac software Match.
- A strong understanding of software development within industrial systems and IoT solutions.
- Good knowledge of system design and troubleshooting.
- Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Your personal qualities:
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks.
- A good ability to plan, structure, and prioritize.
- You are driven by development and keep yourself updated in your field.
- You have a good eye for detail.
