Experienced System Developer with Leadership Aspirations Wanted!

Combitech in Växjö and Karlskrona is currently seeking an experienced system developer who wants to grow as a leader in our expanding business. We are looking for someone who wants to lead and further develop our unit that works with the development of security solutions and products. Your Role as a Consulting Unit Manager

We are on a journey where our business in the development of security solutions is growing in line with increasing demand, and we are looking for an experienced developer who wants to lead and develop both our solutions and our business. We believe that you are passionate about technical solutions combined with a coaching and supportive role and the desire to develop your leadership.

This means you will work with system development and solution architecture in projects, often as a team lead, while also being responsible for your unit and employees.

You will also be part of the management team of the result unit, which together is responsible for the unit's results and development. We offer you the opportunity to lead and develop a fantastic team of highly experienced and competent employees, with strong support from your immediate managers and an open atmosphere.

Who Are You?

We are looking for a responsible, proactive, and action-oriented person who has held leadership roles as a team lead or similar. Not necessarily as a manager but interested in taking the step towards a leadership role.

You have a degree in computer engineering or a related field in IT, IT security, or similar.

Previous experience in the defense industry, total defense, or other security-sensitive operations is an advantage.

We are looking for someone with a solid technical background and experience in the following areas:

• System Development: You have experience with the entire development cycle, from requirements analysis and design to implementation and testing. You are used to working with agile methods and have a good understanding of version control systems like Git.
• Java: You have extensive experience developing applications in Java. You are well-versed in Java SE and Java EE, and have worked with various frameworks and tools such as Spring, Hibernate, OSGi, and Maven.
• Linux: You have solid experience working with Linux-based systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance. You are comfortable using the CLI and have knowledge of scripting and automation.

Furthermore, you have analytical skills and are adept at identifying and solving technical problems. You are creative and can think outside the box to find effective solutions. A team player who strives for high-quality results, both when working alone and with others. It is important that you are attentive to your colleagues and that you are curious and eager to learn new things.

Travel may be required for this position.

As the position involves work subject to defense secrecy, you must undergo and be approved in a security clearance with a background check.
