Your Role

Are you curious, service-oriented, and interested in production-related systems and IT?

We at JGA are now looking for an IT Technician for our parent company. This is a new, exciting, and important position that expands our existing group-wide IT function. The role is part of our development towards increased efficiency and operational reliability. You will be based at our headquarters in Linneryd and report directly to our Chief Financial and Administrative Officer. The position is a supportive and service-oriented function but also plays an important role in working proactively and preventively by participating in the development of the business in line with our overall strategies. Your work will be done in consultation with our System and IT Manager, who belongs to the same department.

Your Main Responsibilities

Monitor and optimize our IT systems and networks.

Identify and resolve downtimes caused by hardware failures, software issues, and network disruptions.

Document system configurations and troubleshooting actions to create a knowledge base.

Collaborate with production teams and other departments to tailor IT solutions to the needs of the business.

Start date as soon as possible by agreement.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with relevant education or work experience in IT and systems. Previous experience in IT within industry and production is advantageous, as is knowledge of PLC. You are technically skilled and have a burning interest in IT, systems, and technology.

You are proficient in Swedish and have good communication skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with colleagues, management, customers, and external parties. You find it easy to build relationships and create trust.

As a person, you are independent, flexible, and solution-oriented with the ability to plan and structure your work. A service-oriented approach is a given for you!

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability, as the right attitude and a strong interest carry significant weight.

About Us

JGA is a family-owned group with a tradition in the manufacturing and sales of high-quality sawn and processed wood products. The parent company O M Anderson is part of the group, which consists of four companies with over 150 employees. We have a total turnover of approximately 1 billion SEK and produce 250,000 m³ of sawn timber per year, mainly delivered through resellers to industries and construction sites across Sweden and Europe. The sawmill was established in 1928 and is now run by the fourth generation of Andersson. We are covered by a collective agreement.
