JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to help strengthen our unit with your expertise in plant protection products and the Environmental Code? We are now looking for a new colleague who wants to contribute to providing clear guidance to municipalities and county administrative boards within our area of responsibility.

At the Environmental Regulation Unit, we work with guidance, regulatory development, case management, and training. We collaborate with other authorities such as the Chemicals Agency, the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, county administrative boards, and municipalities, and participate in international work, for example within the EU.

In this position, you will work with supervisory guidance in the area of plant protection products. You will, for example:

• provide guidance to municipalities and county administrative boards in the area of plant protection products
• develop guidance materials, hold meetings and training sessions, and respond to questions in our guidance web forum
• follow and participate in EU work in the area of plant protection products
• work to ensure that regulations in the area are easy to understand and follow.

We work with a lean-adapted approach, and you will be part of a team of nine people. You will have the opportunity to work flexibly and adapt to new priorities. With us, you will have a varied workday with both national and international collaborations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is an agronomist, environmental inspector, or has another relevant scientific higher education. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and can communicate in a clear and simple manner.

It is advantageous if you have good knowledge of the agricultural sector's conditions and the use of plant protection products, as well as the environmental impact of agriculture under Swedish conditions. If you also have good knowledge of the Environmental Code legislation, or experience in supervisory guidance, supervision, or control, we consider this an advantage.

As a person, you organize and plan your work well. You are creative and have the ability to see new ways to solve tasks. Since you will have close contacts with colleagues and external parties, it is important that you have good collaboration skills.

The place of employment is Jönköping or Landskrona, with the possibility to work part of the time remotely.
