As a People & Culture Generalist (HR Generalist), you play an important role in creating the conditions for our colleagues to succeed. You are a partner who collaborates with managers and employees to deliver results with both people and business in focus.

Your responsibilities

As a P&C Generalist, you are a business partner supporting IKEA Torsvik in all personnel-related matters. In your role, you work broadly within the HR area and operationally across all different processes. You support and challenge our managers on issues related to labor law, rehabilitation, work environment, and skills development. This may involve implementing new ways of working, participating in rehabilitation meetings, or acting as a sounding board for a recruiting manager. The role also includes collaboration and dialogue with our union partners, as well as management group work.

You will have primary responsibility for a competency area within the HR function. Within that, you have the opportunity to work strategically and with functions outside of IKEA Torsvik.

Together as a team

As a P&C Generalist at IKEA Torsvik, you will belong to the P&C function, which consists of generalists, staffing planners, and the P&C manager. At our site in Torsvik, we have three units and over 800 employees. We provide support to all units and functions at the site. You will be responsible for supporting one of the units.

A requirement for the position is that you have previously worked with HR processes, either as a manager or in a support function. Alternatively, you have a relevant education. We view previous experience as a leader or managerial support in a large organization positively.

Additionally, you need to:

• Be proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Have very good computer skills
