Your New Job

The challenge of workforce supply is an issue that overshadows all others.

Increasing numbers of elderly people combined with a significant decrease in working-age individuals place new demands on the social administration's strategic planning for the future.

As a development leader with us, you will work on behalf of the functional management groups within elderly care and municipal health and medical care, as well as the development manager of the social administration. With a focus on what is valuable for citizens, you will have an important and supportive role in the strategic work of securing workforce supply within the functions.

Based on an understanding of the complexity of the assignment, where you work collaboratively and continuously learn with others, you are expected to be responsible for various development projects. You will be an important part of enabling the anchoring and participation needed in different relationships where competence, experience, and knowledge are gathered both within and outside the organization. You will work on drafting documents, project plans, and managing processes within the projects. Furthermore, you will monitor the area, analyze, plan, and facilitate based on the assignments/projects you are responsible for, as well as evaluate them and follow up on goals and results.

Your Competence

You who are applying have a higher education relevant to the social administration, such as social worker, behavioral scientist, social care, profession-specific education within health and medical care, or a university degree deemed equivalent by the employer. Furthermore, you have several years of experience within elderly care and/or municipal health and medical care as a unit manager, assistance officer, nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, and/or development leader. Previous experience in project management, where you have been a project leader, is an advantage. You are communicatively skilled in Swedish, both spoken and written, and can adapt your message and approach skillfully based on the person and group you meet.

To thrive in your role, you need to enjoy working both independently and in a team and be a good relationship builder. You work in a structured manner and have the ability to plan and prioritize your work effectively. Furthermore, you have a holistic perspective on the operations, see details and smaller parts, and can place these in a larger context. You are flexible and can adapt your work based on the complexity of the assignments.

Welcome to Us

The Development Unit is part of the common staff at the social administration. Your closest colleagues are the research leader of the social administration, leadership and management strategist, and development leader/project manager for Focus on Workforce Supply. Your closest manager is the development manager.

The Development Unit works to stimulate learning in the organization in various ways and has an overarching responsibility for research, leadership development, and some of the administration's strategic projects. Our workspaces are nice, and the workplace is centrally located in Jönköping with proximity to both train and bus.

Good to Know

The recruitment concerns two permanent full-time positions as development leaders with a start date according to agreement. During the project period, which is 3 years, you will work as a development leader and will be part of the social administration's development unit. You will fundamentally be employed in your profession or as a unit manager.

We apply ongoing selection. Interviews are planned for the afternoons of May 14 and May 16. Testing tools will be part of the selection process.
