About the Role

As the Accounting Manager, you will be a key player in the finance department, which currently consists of 5 people. Together with your competent colleagues, you will work on a variety of tasks that fall under a finance department, with a focus on accounting. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the accounting and ensuring that our financial processes are in top shape. The assignment includes streamlining and digitizing our work processes, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations in accounting and tax areas, as well as actively contributing to improvement work that drives the business forward. Together with the finance team, you will ensure that we have accurate figures on time – while also contributing proactive analyses and insights.

Main Responsibilities:

• Analysis and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ongoing accounting in accordance with SOX and US GAAP.
• Tax and VAT reporting.
• Improvement of internal work processes, digitization of tasks, and optimization of flows.
• Contact with authorities and auditors.
• Budgeting and forecasting.
• Analysis and reporting of relevant key figures.

Your Profile

We believe that you who are applying have a post-secondary education in finance, and several years of professional experience in qualified accounting. You easily master the tasks that fall under a finance department, especially those related to accounting. To succeed in the role, it is a prerequisite that you have good IT skills and experience with business systems and Excel. Since you will be communicating in an international environment, you need to handle English with ease in both speech and writing.

As a person, you are structured, analytical, and results-oriented. You believe that collaboration is important to achieve results. To thrive in the role, we believe you are good at communicating and have a strong ability to adapt to different situations and conditions.
