Responsibilities

As a solutions architect at Brejn, you will work closely with both business and development teams to ensure that their clients receive the best possible system solutions. You are responsible for translating business needs into technical solutions and leading the work to create sustainable, secure, and efficient architectures. An important part of your job is to inspire and guide teams, facilitate workshops, and conduct risk analyses in complex IT projects.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing system solutions based on business requirements and technical conditions.
• Conducting thorough risk assessments, for example through SWOT analyses.
• Working with prototyping and developing solution proposals.
• Documenting architectural work in tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect or Visio.
• Conducting and leading interviews with stakeholders within the IT organization.

As a solutions architect at Brejn, your focus is on the domain rather than on individual systems, where you will play a central role in shaping the architectural solutions of the future and develop in an inspiring environment alongside some of the industry's most experienced architects.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role of solutions architect at Brejn, we see that you have a business-oriented mindset and a technical background as a developer. You have worked as an architect for at least 1-2 years and have a good understanding of how to design and implement sustainable system solutions. As a person, you are analytical, communicative, and structured, with the ability to see both the big picture and the technical details.

You thrive in a leadership role where you inspire and engage others and have experience facilitating workshops. Furthermore, you have strategic thinking, are solution-oriented, and possess good collaboration skills, allowing you to navigate complex environments and ensure successful deliveries.

We would like you to have:

• At least five years of experience as a consultant.
• A solid development background in Java or .Net.
• Good understanding and interest in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), container technologies (Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift), and microservices (Spring Boot, Quarkus).

It is a plus if you have:

• Certification in SAFe for Architects.
• Relevant courses or certifications, for example through Dataföreningen Kompetens.
• Membership and interest/engagement in IASA.
