Bostads AB Poseidon is looking for a temporary outdoor environment controller

Bostads AB Poseidon is a wholly owned subsidiary of Förvaltnings AB Framtiden, which in turn is owned by Göteborgs Stadshus AB, wholly owned by the City of Gothenburg. As the city's largest housing company, we own and manage approximately 28,500 homes in Gothenburg. We work decentralised in seven districts, close to our tenants.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Poseidon's good outdoor environment work has long been known in both the property and outdoor environment industries. We are now looking for a temporary outdoor environment controller who will keep track of the overall projects where the outdoor environment and its valuable ecosystem services are protected in the best possible way in our seven districts in Gothenburg.

Poseidon's outdoor environments should be both functional and beautiful, inviting meetings, relaxation, and socializing for our approximately 60,000 tenants in Gothenburg. To ensure this, we work purposefully with maintenance documentation and smart mapping tools as a base, together as a team - our strategic outdoor environment unit along with our five skilled environmental coordinators and about fifty environmental caretakers - with a common goal in sight: a greener Poseidon and Gothenburg!

This is where you come into the picture in your role as a temporary outdoor environment controller - responsible for driving and monitoring parts of the company's overall outdoor environment issues, with a special focus on upcoming and ongoing projects. You will be part of the outdoor environment unit consisting of an outdoor environment manager and two outdoor environment controllers, based at the head office in Gamlestaden and working as needed in our seven districts in Gothenburg. You will report to the outdoor environment manager.

Tasks to drive and monitor

Ecosystem services in management
Protection of the outdoor environment during renovations
Monitoring: laws, regulations, and opportunities
Advising districts
Support and guidance within outdoor environment maintenance and care to the districts
Reviewing new construction

QUALIFICATIONS

As an outdoor environment controller, you will combine independent work with continuous meetings with the district's outdoor environment managers, project leaders, and contractors. Therefore, you need to be a proactive team player who is structured and comfortable taking your own initiatives. You have a green commitment as well as a broad perspective on outdoor environment work. You possess good communication skills with the willingness to listen, influence, change, and develop.

You who apply have previous experience in outdoor environment management as well as relevant education/experience in gardening. You also have previous experience working with various systems; both in the office and as field tools. You have a B driver's license.
