Töreboda parish is looking for someone to be responsible for and develop the cemetery and funeral services in Töreboda parish. You will lead, plan, and follow up on the ongoing cemetery operations.

The position includes operational and budget responsibility for cemetery and funeral services as well as personnel responsibility.

Some weekend and evening work may occur.

Your background

• You have some form of leadership experience and preferably have completed a leadership training.
• Experience in planning, leading, and following up on ongoing work.
• Driver's license B is required and preferably access to your own car.
• You are a good administrator and an experienced user of the Office suite, as well as Teams.
• You communicate orally and in writing in good Swedish.

Meritorious:

• Previous experience in operational follow-up, operational planning, budgeting, and management group work.
• Previous work within the Church of Sweden.
• Previous experience working in a cemetery, park environment, or similar.

It is important that you have an eye for what needs to be done and that you can prioritize.

Töreboda parish is a rural parish located in northern Skaraborg, in the Diocese of Skara. It consists of four congregations and 15 churches. Both agricultural land and forest landscapes provide a varied nature, and one can travel on both the Göta Canal and the western main line through the parish.

The cemetery and property unit currently consists of 13 full-time employees and seven seasonal employees, two in the office, one cemetery manager, and one property manager.
