Description

The season at Borås cemeteries 2025 is approaching, and we need to strengthen our team with an additional colleague who enjoys making the outdoors beautiful in both sun and rain.

Responsibilities

We work with the maintenance, operation, and upkeep of Borås cemeteries' outdoor environment. You will, for example, work with lawn mowing, weeding, planting seasonal flowers, trimming hedges, collecting leaves, and watering. The work is physically demanding, and we are outside in all weather, which requires you to have good physical fitness.

Normal working hours are weekdays from 7 AM to 4 PM.

Qualifications

You should preferably have previous experience in cemetery work or other types of green space maintenance.

You will work both independently and in a team, so you need to be responsible and have good collaboration skills. You will provide our visitors with a friendly reception and act with respect and dignity. To be eligible for seasonal employment, you must be at least 18 years old, hold a B driver's license, and have a high school diploma.

You will receive work clothes and other necessary equipment, and an introduction will be conducted before work begins.

Conditions

Seasonal employment full-time for approximately 5 months with good opportunities for extension if both parties agree, starting in April 2025.

The Church of Sweden operates three preschools and manages five cemeteries in Borås. The number of employees is approximately 150, and the turnover is 140 million kronor.
