Experienced Animal Caregiver Level 2 or 3 Wanted

Location: Grästorp, Västra Götaland

We are looking for an engaged and experienced animal caregiver at level 2 or 3 for our modern small animal clinic in Grästorp. The clinic was newly built in 2020 and offers large, bright, and well-planned facilities that create a pleasant working environment for both staff, animals, and pet owners.

The position is suitable for you who have a genuine commitment to veterinary care and who thrives in a varied role with responsibility and self-drive. We are looking for someone with documented experience working in a small animal clinic, and who can confidently handle tasks within outpatient care, sterilization work, radiology, and surgical preparations.

You are self-sufficient, take your own initiatives, find it easy to collaborate, and see what needs to be done – even when the pace varies. A good reception is important to us, and we place great emphasis on having a professional and empathetic approach towards both animals and pet owners.

Job responsibilities include:

• Work in outpatient care
• 
  
• Sterilization work as well as assistance and cleaning in connection with surgery
• 
  
• Independent work with radiology
• 
  
• Blood sampling and analysis in our internal laboratory
• 
  
• Care and supervision of hospitalized patients
• 
  
• Customer contact and work at the reception
• 
  
• Receive and handle phone calls as needed
• 
  
• Administer medication independently according to the veterinarian's prescription

We would like you to have experience in independently taking blood samples and analyzing them, as well as being confident in administering medication as prescribed. You should also be able to handle calls at the reception as needed, with a calm and professional demeanor.
