Description

We are looking for someone who enjoys and has experience working with children and youth for a position as a school counselor at Yrkesgymnasiet. This position is a parental leave replacement.

Responsibilities

As a school counselor, you will be part of the school's student health team, whose main mission is health promotion and preventive work, where your role will be to take responsibility for the psychosocial perspective. In this position, you will work with students on an individual and group level, conduct advisory/supportive conversations with students, and carry out social mapping. Additionally, you will collaborate with the school's staff and other authorities such as social services and child and adolescent psychiatry. The school's mission is to help students achieve their goals while promoting good student health concurrently.

Qualifications

We prefer that you are a trained social worker or have another equivalent background. You should have a good understanding of the regulations governing the school's social work and preferably have worked as a school counselor.

This position is a parental leave replacement from April 22 to June 17, 2025.
