About the position

At Imera, we have LSS accommodations staffed around the clock, personal assistance, and daily activities at several locations in and around Uppsala.

As a housing supporter, you work with and not for the person in need of support. You are with the individual in their daily life and support them by being involved in all everyday tasks such as personal hygiene, cooking, cleaning, medical visits, etc. Furthermore, you, along with other staff, are responsible for planning and executing both daily routines and activities with the users.

You are expected to work on building relationships with our users. You establish and follow action plans and work towards increasing independence and participation in society for our users. The role also includes working with the manager to maintain a high quality in the operations by following routines and pointing out areas for improvement.

About you

We are looking for someone with experience as a housing supporter within LSS. You have a high school education in a relevant field, and if you have further education in pedagogy, psychology, or similar, we consider it an asset. It is also an advantage if you have knowledge/training in CBT. A B driver's license is required for the position, as well as good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

As a person, you have a good understanding of your important role and a positive and humane behavior towards both colleagues and users and their relatives. You are professional, attentive, and responsible with the ability to create good relationships. Furthermore, you are patient and work solution-focused. You are driven by a strong commitment to the target group and are mature and secure as a person. Of course, you believe, just like us - everyone should have a good day.

We are looking for staff in Uppsala and surrounding areas for summer substitutes.

The working hours at the accommodation are day, evening, weekend, and sleeping on-call.

Requirements

• Qualified nursing assistant
• Work experience within LSS
• B driver's license
• Good Swedish in both speech and writing

Meritorious

• Education in pedagogy, psychology, or other relevant fields
