About us

We are now looking for summer/temp staff who can work as needed at our HVB operations in Älvkarleby and Sandviken. We have two units in Älvkarleby, K-rehab Alpha and Alvina, as well as one unit in Sandviken, K-rehab Odengatan. The target group is adults with substance abuse issues and mental health problems. Alpha primarily targets men, Alvina only accepts women, and Odengatan accepts both men and women. The clients are referred by social services or adult psychiatry. The method is based on CBT and the working method is team-based. Collaboration with doctors, psychologists, nurses, social workers, therapists, and treatment pedagogues is part of the daily work.

As a temp, you contribute to covering for unplanned absences and/or temporary increased staffing needs, which means you may work anything from a few hours to a longer period on short notice. As a temp, you will also work at all three units.

At the units, work occurs during the day, evening, and weekends, as well as sleeping night shifts. In your application, please specify your availability.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with previous experience working with people in difficult life situations and who is calm and balanced with a focus on the client's well-being. As a person, you are solution-focused, organized, and responsible. You have a positive outlook, are stress-resistant, and have good conditions to work in sometimes tough psychosocial work environments. To thrive and succeed in this role, we see that you have an easy time building relationships, good collaboration skills, and a very good ability to set boundaries in client work.

You have at least a 2-year post-secondary education such as treatment/social pedagogy.

The work involves close and trusting collaboration with your colleagues, so you have good communication and collaboration skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. A background check will be conducted before employment.

• Social pedagogue, social worker, or treatment pedagogue.
• Experience in treatment work
• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
• Good computer skills as documentation is extensive
• Driver's license (B)
