We need to expand our workgroup with an additional personal assistant.

The user is a 21-year-old girl with communication difficulties, developmental disabilities, self-harming behavior, and some autism. Communication occurs through speech, signs, and visual aids, but she has no spoken language. She has reduced hearing but full mobility. This young woman currently lives with her parents.

The job includes all daily tasks such as personal hygiene and cooking, as well as activities like horseback riding, swimming, dental visits, and going out for barbecues.

As an employee, you should be resourceful, imaginative, and retain some childlike qualities. It is also beneficial if you are self-assured and can remain calm in stressful situations. You also need to have patience when the user requires extra motivation.

For us, common sense, a good view of humanity, and a good personal chemistry are more important than having formal education or experience in the profession of personal assistant. You should not be allergic to pets as there are pets in the home. There is a fragrance allergy in the family, so it is important that you are not a smoker or use strong scents in the workplace. Since the user lives about 4 km from Junsele, having a driver's license may be an advantage.

Individual and flexible scheduling based on the user's needs, while also considering the employee's preferences. The position is currently part-time, with additional night shifts added when you and the user feel comfortable with each other. However, we are working to get more hours approved by the Social Insurance Agency, which may increase the position. We believe that you who apply see this as a long-term commitment.

The position starts as an hourly employment to see if the personal chemistry is right, then it may transition to a fixed-term employment as long as the assistance assignment lasts, with a working degree of 50%, which may be increased.
