Linköpingsvägen 2 is an LSS group home with five residents and nine staff.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a support assistant at Linköpingsvägen 2, you will work with your colleagues based on the goal of giving users participation, influence, and a high degree of self-determination in their own lives. We strive to create good quality of life and self-fulfillment for users based on current legislation. The operation runs 24/7, all year round.

Based on laws, goals, and guidelines, you will enable the user to be at the center and have influence over and participation in interventions and activities for an independent life. You will use self-assessment methods where the user can assess their abilities, describe their feelings, desires, will, and attitudes.

You will work based on the Act on Special Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS) and other applicable legislation, the municipality's values, political goals, and other guidelines.

Interventions must meet the individual's psychological, physical, and social needs. Support interventions must be based on the user's individual needs, promote independence and participation, and be performed with respect for the user's integrity and self-determination.

Provide support, care, and assistance to the individual and support meaningful activities in ways that strengthen the individual's resources from a social and habilitative/rehabilitative perspective. Work with documentation, implementation plans, follow-ups, and deviation reporting, such as Lex Sarah.

Structure and plan your work based on the employer's established directives. By delegation from a nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist, perform health and medical tasks. Follow the employer's established working methods, common approaches, routines, and guidelines.

Participate in the development of working methods and approaches.

Actively participate in competence development. Hold areas of responsibility and assignments both within and outside the regular workplace and actively participate in meetings, goal-setting, and planning days. Actively contribute to developing a good and qualitative operation and come up with ideas for changes and improvements in the operation. Perform other relevant tasks.

Collaborate and maintain close contact via phone and email with the user's network, doctors, and other authorities.

The work is scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with education or other training assessed as equivalent:

  • Care and Nursing Program with specialization in disability/psychiatry.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant with a focus on developmental disabilities/mental health.
  • Child and Leisure Program with a focus on social work or educational work.

Requirements:

  • Medication delegation
  • Driving license B

Meritorious:

  • Previous experience working in LSS operations and documentation.
