Description

Do you want to help create fantastic summer memories for children and youth? For eight weeks this summer, we offer camps and activities for children and youth in Timrå Municipality.

Your task as a camp leader at Tolvösand is to be responsible for children aged 7-13 years during the first four weeks and to plan and lead activities for this age group. The camp operates during the day from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and is held outdoors regardless of the weather. During the remaining four weeks, your task will be to be an activity leader in Tallnäs and to be responsible for the children and youth who come to our open activities. The work also includes planning and leading activities tailored to the age group. Activities are conducted during the day from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and are held outdoors in Tallnäs regardless of the weather. As an activity leader, you will also mentor summer-working youth.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of participating children from the moment they board the camp bus in the morning until they disembark after the day is over. The work as a camp leader includes planning, leading, and conducting outdoor activities for the camp's children together with other staff. In addition, you will also mentor summer-working youth.
• Supervision of participating children and youth during the day in Tallnäs. Plan outdoor activities for children and youth together with other staff. Lead and conduct outdoor activities for children and youth together with other staff. In addition, you will also mentor summer-working youth.

Qualifications

We are looking for a person over 18 years old who is calm and secure in themselves. You should enjoy being outdoors and preferably have experience in outdoor life and outdoor pedagogy, as well as a strong interest in sports. You should be able to collaborate easily and take your own initiative, have good knowledge of the right of public access, and have experience working with children and youth. It is a merit if you have a driver's license and are multilingual.

Conditions

A valid extract from the criminal record for work with children and youth outside of school is a prerequisite for employment. The position may be filled before the application period ends.

The employment covers weeks 26-33, as well as an introduction day in June.
