Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a man in his 40s, residing in Härnösand
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• has experience in supporting communication.

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience in similar work
• have experience in handling seizures

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The positions are summer temporary jobs between weeks 26-33,

Working hours are from 08:00 to 17:00 and awake night shifts from 17:00 to 08:00. The positions include both day and night shifts and have an employment rate of approximately 70%.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
