ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Aktiv Assistans are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant, on-call as needed, for our client in central Örnsköldsvik. There is also the possibility of more work during the summer. The client requires assistance around the clock, so working hours vary between daytime, evening, and awake night shifts on weekdays and weekends.

Start date is according to agreement, and we would like to see you start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is an active and cheerful woman in her 20s who is looking for an assistant to get the most out of her everyday life. She has spina bifida and is paralyzed from the waist down, which means she moves around in a wheelchair and power wheelchair.

She loves being outdoors regardless of the weather and has a great interest in animals. Her free time is often filled with activities such as going to the movies, crafting, painting, horseback riding, swimming, and concerts. As an assistant, you will have the opportunity to support her in these interests and contribute to a meaningful and active everyday life.

We are looking for someone who is a positive and easy-going person with humor, patience, and is attentive to the needs of others. Attention to detail is an important quality, but above all, it’s about matching your personality with the client’s.

REQUIREMENTS

• Not allergic to pets as the client has a cat, and a dog may also be present in the home sometimes
• Proficient in Swedish in both speech and writing

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in care

Employment rate: On-call and summer substitutes.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.
