JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now hiring an assistance officer in the unit for investigation and preventive activities. You will, on behalf of the Welfare Committee, investigate, assess, and make decisions according to the Social Services Act (SoL) for individuals over and under 65 years of age. You will have contacts with the individual, relatives, legal representatives, and work from a holistic perspective with the individual in focus according to IBIC (Individual's Needs in Center). We work collaboratively around the individual, where you as an assistance officer are an important piece in internal and external collaboration with providers and other stakeholders. You will actively contribute to the unit's quality and development work.

The use of welfare technology and technical solutions is part of our working method and is included in our efforts to meet the needs of citizens, as part of the systematic quality and work environment efforts when we work smarter to be efficient. In line with the new Social Services Act, we actively work to be promoting and preventive. Therefore, we have both occupational therapists and physiotherapists employed, with whom you as an assistance officer will work closely to further determine the best intervention for citizens. Being an employee in our elderly care service means having a strong user focus, courage, and perseverance in the continuous improvement work.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have an academic degree from the social work program or another equivalent academic education. Experience in public authority according to the Social Services Act focusing on the elderly is an advantage. We expect you to have good documentation and computer skills as well as a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

As a person, you are solution-focused, positive, and independent. The job suits you if you collaborate and relate to others in a responsive and smooth manner, are secure in your work role, and have a good ability to structure your working time effectively. Last but not least, you are a flexible person who can see opportunities in changes.
