We at the Social Administration's Administrative Unit provide administrative support to both residents of Varberg and our employees. We strive to create a positive and dynamic work environment where all employees can grow and develop.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Social Administration's Administrative Unit works to create safe and inclusive services by supporting various processes within HR administration, secretarial work, finance, social services, and LSS. The unit consists of colleagues working in modern and newly built premises in the city center.

We provide administrative support to both residents of Varberg and our employees. Our goal is to create a positive and flexible work environment where all employees are given the opportunity to grow and develop while contributing to enhancing the quality of our services. The systems we work with are Personalingången (Visma) and Life Care Planning.

You may also work with scheduling via Time Care and financial administration with Proceedo. This includes invoice management and other administrative tasks. It is important that you can adapt to new systems and processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of our administrative routines.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a good ability to work independently on their own assignments and can analyze and prioritize administrative tasks effectively.

Desirable qualities for this position include:

  • Experience in scheduling
  • Education in personnel administration
  • Experience working with systems such as Life Care Planning or Visma payroll systems.
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards changes

You should be flexible and have a good ability to collaborate with colleagues and external parties.

OTHER

This position is a parental leave replacement during a colleague's absence, lasting until September 30, 2026, with the possibility of extension.

The position is full-time (40 hours per week) with working hours from 07:30 to 16:00. A flexible work schedule is offered according to agreement, allowing for a good balance between work and private life.

Varberg Municipality has a political decision regarding the desired employment rate. This means that the employee has the right to work full-time or desired part-time.
